Meet Dr. Palomo - Facial Plastic Surgeon Fellow at Starkman Facial Plastic Surgery

After a competitive match process, Dr. Palomo matched with Dr. Starkman into one of the 63 coveted fellowship spots accredited by the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and she will spend one year in Scottsdale dedicated to advancing her training in facial rejuvenation and rhinoplasty surgery. Dr. Palomo enjoys the creative process inherent to Facial Plastic Surgery and is passionate about helping patients look and feel their best.

Dr. Palomo was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. She moved here with her husband, daughter, and 8 year-old German Shepard. In her spare time, she enjoys taking Peloton classes, and getting creative in the kitchen with cooking and baking. She and her family love to immerse themselves in the great outdoors, participating in activities such as hiking, biking, and swimming.

Education & Training

Dr. Palomo earned a bachelor’s degree in biology and a minor in biochemistry from Northwestern State University in Louisiana, graduating magna cum laude. After graduation, she gained clinical experience working at a dermatology office in Central California before pursuing a career in medicine.

She obtained her medical degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University in Ohio, graduating at the top of her class. Dr. Palomo then completed a high-volume, five-year surgical residency in Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Florida, participating in over 3,000 operations.
